I have updated the ocean materials in Wonderlands from the Borderlands 3 version.
There are a few new updates such as better looking foam, new shoreline effects for a few beach areas, ocean spray FX along the docs that is triggered by the foam effect in the water, and some tiny boat props which will animate with the gerstner wave. some of the clipping and performance issues were resolved as well from the previous version; the new ocean actually runs off of a landscape actor rather than tiles, which saved rendering of many triangles in the distance. The ocean explosion also matches up to the UVs of the ocean for a seamless sequence and I got to do some support on that moment too, including blocking the sequence out, doing timings, and creating the original wave mesh, but most Credit is to Brian Mcnett and the FX team for really making that moment special. I'm happy the ocean got to be a bit of a "character" in the game.
